This is an original official event poster with photographic artwork by Andre Delourmel. It is in excellent condition and measures 58 x 38 cm (22.8 x 15 inch).
The poster features the start of the 1966 Le Mans race, focusing on the rear of the:
- #29 Ferrari 275 GTB/C of Piers Courage and Roy Pike
- #36 Ferrari Dino 206 S of Mike Salmon and David Hobbs
- #57 Ferrari 275 GTB of Pierre Noblet and Claude Dubois
- #28 Ferrari 250 LM of Gustave ‘Taf’ Gosselin and Eric de Keyn
Unfortunately, for us Ferrarista, the 1967 Le Mans was won by Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt in the Ford GT40 Mk IV. Ferrari still managed to get a double podium with Ludovico Scarfiotti and Mike Parkes (second) and Willy Mairesse and Jean Blaton (third), in their Ferrari 330 P4s.
If you own or desire to own a Ferrari 275 GTB/4, this original poster is a must-have piece for your office or garage!
